Take time to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us everyday
Take time to thank God for that beauty – take a minute or two to pray
Take time to say to someone for whom you really care
I really love and appreciate you and I always want you to be near
Take time to consider what if I did not wake up today
Take time to appreciate the fact that you’ve lived to see another day
Take time to say I’m sorry and to forgive because you mess up too
And you would appreciate an apology or forgiveness if the one on the receiving end was you
Take time to reflect on the events of the day but do not bear others in mind
Because if we all lived by an eye for an eye then the entire world would be blind
Take time to enjoy the simple things, like someone giving you a genuine smile
Take time to return the sentiment, even if just for a little while
Take time to stand up for what you believe, you have a right to be heard
Take time to make them hear what you have to say and listen to every single, solitary word
Take time to love yourself and never let negative thoughts infiltrate your head
And remember it’s never too late to start taking the time; you see I’ve only recently started doing the things I’ve just said
